A WAVE GOODBYE TO NORTHERN IRELAND...

SO i knew this post would be difficult to write!! Which is why i waited a while after i moved out to write it!

This place, although very one of a kind and totally different to anything I've ever experienced, has given me more than i could've imagined!! Its given me people that will stay in my heart forever and its given me career opportunities that don't just come along often for anyone!

Now I'm not going to lie. The first 7 months or so, were the hardest of my life so far. 18 going on 19 years old, living across the water from my whole family and going through a frightening time. The pure kindness of everyone around me, people who haven't even known me more than 8 months just was overwhelming. Ill never forget the people that got me through this tough time. It got so hard i almost gave up, but i thought theres no way I'm going home after I've got this far. With dreams of London and America still at the forefront of my mind i was determined to stay in Belfast for as long as it took.

So my patience paid off! Now London is my home and my career is at the biggest high street fashion store in the world. Something only dreams are made of for fashion obsessed people like me!

I urge anyone who has a dream no matter how big to just go for it, what have you to lose! Sure, i have no money and one pint of beer costs £8 here but I'm happy and happiness is so important! I have become the person i am today purely from taking chances and somewhere that you thought was the wrong place to be, actually turned out to be the best place for you!!

This day with my fee fee was the best last weekend i had to see northern ireland in all its beauty. And as you can see from the pictures it was just stunning! My outfit although looking nice and summery... didn't keep me as warm as id hoped!!

Some fun London blogging coming up soon!

A very 'me' post...

I feel like I'm always apologising! But what with holidays my promotion in work, I have been very very busy, too busy to blog! I can totally start to understand now why many bloggers quit their job to do this full time! Its a lot of prep and effort to do, but I love it!

So, this is a very 'me' outfit. I practically live in this grey high neck top and my ripped jeans, so comfortable and all i need to do is throw my hair down, put some heels on and then its a going out outfit!! A slouchy bag and some cute tan loafers neutralise the outfit and bring it all together! This camel 'Truster' jacket as seen on my blog before, is such an essential key piece to have this spring/summer. If you live in Northern Ireland or anywhere that doesn't really have a summer for that matter, having a jacket is still a must and this one is a perfect material and thickness for this time of year!

This street is close to where I live and thought it was the perfect backdrop for this post! ( looks sunny but it was so freezing!! haha)

Keep posted for a Gran canaria post!!

A pink post...

Ahh hey guys!! I can't believe how long its been since my last post. With work and losing my best friend/volunteer photographer to Gran Canaria, I was stuck for while finding free time plus someone who would help out!! But I'm back now for good and my blog will be nice and active again!! Sorry again for such a delay!

So since my last post the weather has taken a turn for the better!! Well... I say that, its still freezing but at least the suns out!!

Any excuse for a bardot top! This ones from Topshop last year, but they have all been brought back out again this year. White jeans again are a huge deal for the spring summer, they look so effortlessly classy for any occasion.

Normally everything I blog about would be from Topshop, but the shoes here and the cape were both Primark bargains! This cape, which i think is just such a lovely little cute spring/summer cover up for when its a bit chilly, was only £2!!! Yes, £2! I couldn't resist i really couldn't!

I can't wait for the summery style this year, as everything in the shops is just beautiful so far!! Apologies again for the lack of posts! Theres more to come!
Thanks everyone

ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK...

So, Im keeping it very casual for this post!! I picked up the cream in this cardigan from Primark and was told it also comes in the orange too! I literally ran over as quickly as i could and it was only £5!! I haven't been into brights and will probably go off the colour very soon (haha!) but i love the way you can wear neutral colours to make it seem not as crazy bright!

Paired with a ripped jean and a heeled boot. A big oversized cardigan is perfect to throw on for a weekend away instead of lugging a big coat around with you!! Im going to Dublin for the first ever time in a few weeks so I can't wait to style this for then!!

This big weekend bag is from Zara a few years back, i remember only paying around £12 for it! Its lasted so long and is a perfect size.

Been feeling so upset lately that i haven't been able to blog as much, I'm so sorry i am going to find a willing volunteer soon enough that will help!!

Thankyou for reading!

SOUTH KENSINGTON...

I was extremely lucky again to be sent off by Topshop to a meeting for Topshop Beauty earlier on this week. And once again, London didn't fail to make me feel so special and just so at ease. Although its so bustling and constantly go go go, i love that buzz of the cultures and amazing buildings you see everywhere you go.

My sister and i went to the museums so i wanted to wear an outfit that was comfortable, but also that i fitted in with the white brick and the gorgeous surroundings!(sad i know)

Once again, grey on grey is just huge now! Its so effective with such minimal effort.

This cardigan!!! It was £7 outta Primark and i actually can't believe what a bargain that was!

Apologies my blog isn't updated as often as it was. I mentioned in my last post that my gorg best friend moved abroad so its a little difficult to have the photos taken! But i will update as often as i can!!

Thanks chicks,

FEELING FLORAL...

Sorry for the awkward poses I'm doing in these pictures...my dad took them as i was visiting home for the weekend and he just didn't really understand the whole fashion blogging picture thing (lol sorry dad).

Lets talk about this gorgy skirt!! Topshop (obviously), and although its a very springy/summery number, i think dressed with a long sleeved top and a duster or even a fur jacket, it looks lovely!

My bestie Danny who takes a lot of the photos for my blog is moving to Gran Canaria!! So the posts will not be as often but will try my hardest for you!

Thanks

LOVER...

Topshop continues to kill me with their Tee and Cake slogan jumpers and tees. This one here says 'lover' on it and the simplicity of it is so cute and girly.

London has really taken its toll on me now,but i met some amazing people and had the best time of my life. Haven't been able to blog due the sisters wifi not working!! A bloggers worst nightmare haha!!  These were taken by my sister outside her flat in London and although the sun was shining...it was bitterly cold!! This was just one of the outfits i loved wearing while i was there.

Can we also discuss this 'drench' jacket?! Topshop outdid themselves with this because it goes with everything, makes every outfit look so classy and can be worn casual or really dressy!!

Sorry for the delay in posting, will be back in Belfast up and running soon!
