PROM...with a twist..

It was my college leaving dinner/ball and I personally thought that wearing a dress that will always be compared to all the other dresses...is a bit boring! Taking risks in fashion is always a good thing, even if some people dont think so, you know you look fabulous!

So back to the outfit itself... it was VERY hard work to find a suit that fits a female really nicely (why can men buy such nice ones everywhere they look?!) it baffles me but i got pieces from all over the highstreet to create this look.

Right okay so here it is! Got many strange looks that night but it didnt bother me atall! Knowing that they wore what they wanted to, and i wore what i wanted to made me feel a lot more confident! When you do take a risk, it makes you feel better within yourself because you have kept to your own individual style.

Shirt- Ralph Lauren
Tie- Topman
  Blazer- H&M
    Trousers- Topshop
      Shoes- Topshop
      Bag- River Island

The silver theme was something new to me, as i personally believe that gold everything looks way better! BUT a lot of comments were made on how well this outfit complimented the silver of my jewellery, bag and shoes!

Makeup- now this isnt a makeup/beauty blog but i wanted to explain that due to the outfit being so daring(as some people would say) i kept the makeup to a minimum, no false eyelashes, no piles of foundation... just a clean looking face with a strong lip.

AND FINALLY... the shoes!! Most important asset for a lady many must admit, although my purse takes a good beating every single week on a new pair! These absolute beauties are called 'SUPREMA' and they are from Topshop, they arent in stock any longer but i had this suit idea months ago...so could plan the outfit around them by buying them early! Something i would recommmend to everyone is that if you like one signature piece... buy it!! Work the rest of the outfit around it and you'll find that its easier than crying over that pair of gorgeous heels that have sold out in your size and you cant get them out of your head!

The moral of this little story i guess is to take chances!! If people dont like it, its probably because they are thinking 'damn i wish i thought of that!!'

Be the girl that everybody else wants to be by sticking to what you really want to wear!
